South’s water rescue was dispatched to assist the City with a boat that had lost power and was a drift with 9 persons on board. Car 5 – Bat 5 responded. Units arrived on scene at the Duboistown Boat Club and entered the water. Boat 5 reached the stranded boat, attached a tow line, and towed them back to the Arch Street Boat launch. Boat 1 followed behind acting as a safety boat. No injuries reported and the boat was successfully retrieved.
