Several Members have begun training to become operators of our fleet. Members will spend many hours getting familiar with the equipment prior to taking their Emergency Vehicle Operations Course. Once they complete that course, they can begin training on each of our apparatus in the fleet beginning with the smallest (Car 5) and moving up to our largest (Ladder 5). Each piece of apparatus carries a minimum of 100 hours of training in both non-emergency and emergency response.
