Approximately 18:22 hours, Lycoming County DPS alerted station 5 to respond on a working structure fire in the Loyalsock District. Squad 5 responded with 4, Car 5 responded with 1 to assist. While enroute Chief 1-18 requested a second alarm with multiple calls. Chief 2-20 arrived on scene with a 2-story single family well off. Squad 5 arrived to supply Engine 18 with water until the arrival of tankers. Crew advanced a 400-foot line to aid in fire suppression, D/O of Squad 5 (Chief 1-5) was tasked with water supply officer. Car 5 arrived to support the Squad’s crew. Units were released and Squad 5 stood by in Station 18’s quarters till they were able to return.
