Multiple Fire Departments Respond to Early Morning Blaze on Charlotte Ave

WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Early this morning, at approximately 2:48 AM, emergency units were dispatched to a reported structure fire on the 400 block of Charlotte Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy flames on the alpha side of the building.

Thankfully, all occupants of the structure were safely evacuated, and fire crews successfully rescued one dog and three cats from the blaze. A total of nine volunteers from the South Williamsport area responded to the call.

The fire department extends its gratitude to the following agencies for their rapid and effective response: Williamsport Bureau of Fire, Duboistown Fire & EMS, Old Lycoming Twp Vol Fire Co, Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Montoursville Fire Department, Nisbet Volunteer Fire Co., and Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company. Their joint efforts were pivotal in managing the incident and preventing further damage.
