South Units responded to assist Station 8 with a motor vehicle accident, no injuries, wires down. Squad 5 and Car 5/Chief 5 responded. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle nose down and rear end straight up into the air resting on a broken pole and guidelines. Crews begin to investigate and determine if the lines were still energized with hot sticks. Driver was located South of the accident with a bystander and uninjured.
PPL arrived and confirmed lines were not energized. PenDot was requested for a road closure as repair would take roughly 7 hours.
