Tones rang out for a working box in South Williamsport. South units responded to a vacant one-story commercial building on W Southern Ave and arrived to find light smoke and flames coming from above one garage door of the ole Merrick Auto Sales building. Fire was knocked down within 10 minutes of arrival and full control within 15 minutes. Overhaul completed and mutual aid units began to take up and return while South Units awaited the arrival of PSP Fire Marshal. Total of 10 firefighters responded.
