South was dispatched to the 200 block of Sylvan Dell Road a long the Susquehanna River for multiple kayakers in the water. Car, Special Units, Boat 1-5, and Boat 2-5 responded. Units arrived on scene to split crews along with mutual aid. Crews immediately went to the shoreline where 1 victim was able to self rescue, and two other were assisted by emergency responders with throw bags and brought every one to shore. All three were taken to awaiting EMS agencies to begin evaluation. 1 was treated and released while two were transported to UPMC Williamsport for further evaluation. Personnel then retrieved the single kayak and brought it to shore.
