A long weekend of class instruction and physical skills on the river for 3 members while they obtain their EBOR certifications. SWFD has a water rescue division and is attached to two Lycoming County Task Forces. To be a full member of this division, the members must obtain the 4 disciplines of water rescue which include WRER, EBOR, ALSR, IRER.
WRER – Water Rescue for the Emergency Responder
EBOR – Emergency Boat Operations for the Responder
ALSR – Advanced Line Systems Rescue
IRER – Ice Rescue and Emergency Response
