South Units along with mutual aid were sent to the 1500 block of W Southern Ave for a reported structure fire. Chief, Ladder, and Special unit responded with mutual aid from Duboistown Fire & EMS, Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Old Lycoming Twp Vol Fire Co, Williamsport Bureau of Fire, Montoursville Fire Department, and Citizens Hose Company of Jersey Shore. Fire was knocked and contained quickly which turned out to be a pile of pallets, construction debris, and misc lumber. No structure was involved. Box was scaled back. Units soaked the rubbish pile and had to cut down a tree to fully extinguish.
