South volunteers were dispatched to Armstrong Township on Sylvan Dell Road for a motor vehicle accident. Chief 5 and Rescue 5 responded shortly after dispatch. Chief 5 arrived to find the roadway blocked with a head on collision, one occupant still in the vehicle. Probationary FF J. Trammell checked on injuries, Probationary FF Warriner, FF Gilbert established vehicle stabilization. MICU 1-91 and Ambulance 8 arrived and took over patient care and assessment of the other driver. Minor fluid and debris cleanup. One patient refused while one patient was transported to hospital for evaluation. Crews maintained road closure until removal of vehicles.
