Squad 5 was dispatched to Sulphur Springs Rd in Armstrong township for an accident with entrapment. Caller was reporting single vehicle overturned, over the embankment, and someone screaming for help, but they can’t see them. MICU 1-91 was first arriving reporting single occupant of the vehicle pinned in the creek under the vehicle. Squad 5 arrived and Chief 1-5 performed a 360 and initiated stabilization with cribbing and air bags. Two high lift jacks were then put in place in just behind the A post and the vehicle was lifting in a coordinated lift 3 inches which allowed the driver to free his waist and crawl out on his own. The driver was transported to UPMC Williamsport where he was released with minor injury.
