Today crews displayed the apparatus across the street at Triple A for their annual membership appreciation event. Crews spent 3 hours passing out fire prevention material to attendees and several fire truck inspections from our local children.
After the event crews put the equipment away and Special Unit 5 along with Boats 1-5 and 2-5 traveled to the Mill Street launch to assist City of Williamsport Chief 2-1 with a water rescue training of the US Army Reserve 327th. As they look to build relationships with the 327th and being proactive for flooding events. This provides a great opportunity for our service personnel to assist as they learn some basic skills with the water ways in our area.
