While on standby at Station 45, a working box was struck in Woodward Township sending Engine 5. Engine 5 responded and was first arriving, deploying two handlines on a well-off trailer. Crews battled the fire for 20 minutes until control was marked. While mop up was underway it was discovered to have been a fatal fire. Crews were on scene approximately two and half hours.
