LOYALSOCK, PA — Early this morning, crews from the South Williamsport Fire Department were dispatched to a reported accident involving a vehicle entrapment in Loyalsock. The Rescue unit, staffed by paid personnel, and an Engine with four crew members responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, responders found a single vehicle overturned on its side after striking a telephone pole, which resulted in a power outage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
The incident caused temporary disruptions in the area as emergency crews worked to secure the site and assess the damage to the utility infrastructure. Power restoration efforts commenced shortly after the accident.
