South units were awoken to a single vehicle accident this morning. Single vehicle versus a telephone pole. Rescue 5 responded along with Engine 8 (Duboistown). Units arrived to find driver with MICU 1-91, vehicle blocking both lanes of travel and leaking engine oil and coolant. Crews mitigated the leaking fluids with absorbent and maintained a road closure till the arrival of the tow company. PPL notified of struck pole and damage to it. Units cleared after vehicle removed. Fire Police from Stations 8 and 18 assisted.
