South volunteers were busy through the evening hours answering alarms throughout South Williamsport Borough, Loyalsock Township, and Armstrong Township. As rain and heavy winds came through the area knocking down trees and disrupting power, crews responded to 20 separate incidents in a two-hour time period. Trees were scattered all over the area and thrown onto houses, cars, powerlines, and the roadway.
